Horizons for Youth’s mission is to create opportunities for and build relationships with children from low-income families so that they can conceive of and achieve their dreams.
Horizons for Youth began in 1990 by a small group of friends wishing to give something back to the community. The members of this group appreciated the profound effect that education had had on their own lives, and wanted to extend quality educational opportunities to children in low-income communities.
