Who We Are
Great Doings is your guide to Culture, Cocktails & Community. We want to help people fill the social void left in all of their lives when they realize, "There's more to life than just going to the bars." To that end, we list events of all shapes and sizes, from fundraisers to business networking events. Many of the events we list benefit great causes, from animal welfare to education initiatives to cancer research. Our goal is to bring young professionals together through social
interaction and a shared sense of responsibility for the people around
us.

Great Doings caters to an upwardly mobile, cosmopolitan audience. Since we know a fair amount about promoting events, it stands to reason that we can help organize them. That`s why we created the Great Doings Party Planner. Hosted Events
Great Doings signature event, the SAVOR Tasting Series, is one of Chicago's fastest growing events. Each month, we host a tasting event focusing on a specific drink type (e.g., summer cocktails, Italian wines). We pair the drinks with foods slected to compliment the featured drink's unique character. Each event has two beneficiaries, which allows us to give back to the community while giving you the opportunity to always meet new people.
Its unique format continues to attract new patrons and has made it one of Chicago`s fastest growing events. Our events have also been instrumental in raising public awareness of many charitable institutions and tens of thousands of dollars have been donated to worthy causes all around our city. Working in unison with these groups, we can help build a vital and safe community that takes care of its own and is, overall, a better place to live.
